Leading women’s headhunter expands to Stockholm

Stockholm / Düsseldorf, 15 March 2024 – Europe’s leading women’s headhunting company continues to grow. With the opening of a new office in Stockholm the company aims to better meet the growing demand for top female executives in Sweden. With Patricia Schaller, a former manager at Deutsche Bahn, the German-Swiss executive search firm is expanding its range of services northwards. „Even if the Scandinavian countries in general and Sweden in particular are often rightly cited as role models when it comes to gender equality, the road to truly equal participation of women is far from over here, too,“ says Schaller.

While there is almost parity in the management of Sweden’s main public authorities and state-owned companies, the situation in the private sector is very different. In 2023, for example, only 12% of all CEOs of listed Swedish companies were women. „In my opinion, it is precisely the targeted search for female executives that HUNTING/HER offers that is needed, also to counter the objection often heard, not only in Sweden, that there is a lack of suitable female candidates,“ says the diversity expert, explaining her next career step as a partner at HUNTING/HER HR-Partners.
